Puppy Co. Junior is a reward-based program designed to build real-life skills for growing puppies, helping them become calm, capable & confident in everyday life. Whether your puppy has just completed puppy school or missed out on early training, these classes provide clear guidance & practical structure to support steady progress.

Puppy Co. Junior supports owners just as much as their puppies. You’ll develop skills to communicate clearly, understand behaviour & guide your puppy in a way that feels calm, consistent & achievable.

Building Skills for Everyday Life

Every session focuses on practical training you can use beyond the classroom, including:

  • Calm behaviour around people and other dogs

  • Focus and engagement around distractions

  • Loose lead walking for calmer outings

  • Recall skills to help your pup come when called

  • Impulse control and thoughtful decision-making

  • Confidence building in new or challenging environments

Supporting You Each Week

Puppy Co. Junior includes written notes for every session, provided by email or printed material (your choice), so you can continue your puppy’s progress at home.

These notes are designed to help you:

  • Build skills gradually and consistently

  • Apply training in everyday situations

  • Work through common challenges as they come up

  • Support your puppy as they grow and develop

This program runs on the same day and time for six consecutive weeks.

Open to vaccinated pups aged 4-6 months.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The program runs for six consecutive weeks, one hour per week. Week 1 is an information session for people only, covering learning theory, training foundations and practical guidance on the early essentials - so you and your puppy are set up for success from the very first session they attend. From Week 2, pups join for practical learning.

  • From Week 2 you'll need your puppy on a flat collar or harness, small high-value food rewards, a food pouch or waist bag, a favourite toy, and a small bed or mat for your puppy. A what-to-bring list, including guidance on food rewards, will be provided at Week 1.

  • Yes, the program includes foundation obedience exercises, plus much more.

  • Make-up classes aren't available, but you won't miss out entirely - written notes from that session will be sent to you by email so you can keep up between classes.

  • Puppy Co. Junior is $250 for the six-week program. An introductory rate of $225 is available for a limited number of spots in the May intake. To reserve your spot, submit the booking request form above. Availability will be confirmed by email, along with payment details. Your spot is only confirmed once payment is received.   • Our puppy classes are held in Torquay, with additional class locations planned for the future as our training community grows. We welcome pups and their people from everywhere across the Surf Coast, Bellarine Peninsula and Greater Geelong, including Jan Juc, Anglesea, Armstrong Creek, Grovedale, Highton, Waurn Ponds and all surrounding areas.
